Hi everyone! It's been a while since I last posted... life's a whirlwind sometimes!

Owen is now 8 months old, I can't believe how many new things he has learned in one short month! I took some videos of him and wanted to share... ENJOY!!

Well... we have arrived. :)

In Illinois!

We are now Illinoisans?! And, we actually feel like we're home already.

I have been trying to find new homes for little knick-knacks all week. Shuffling little things here and there... then back to here. But, through all the craziness I enjoy stopping to play with my little pal. Typically I stop just to hang out, for some fun... other times he yells until I come to him. Either way it USUALLY is a welcomed break from whatever chore I've been doing.

This day I was feeling like he was looking BIG. More like a kid. So, I stopped to chill with my baby... I wanted to just bask in his baby-ness.

He finally fits into the shirt I made a few months back... I think it's what makes him look bigger... and cuter :)

He is grabby...

I took time to bask in his baby hands and feet... they still look like they belong to a baby!

Then he got distracted... and impatient. He was off... at least tried to be off.

Oh... you're growing like a weed! And, you're SUPER fun, Owen Wade.

6 months...

Oh... Owee!

6 months is a HUGE difference from not 6 months :)

I feel like we're stepping out of baby-hood & into toddler-hood.

At 6 months you are rolling over... ALL over. In fact you have now mastered it and are figuring out the scoot!

You sit up all by yourself...

you would rather stand than sit...

you smile all the time...

talk all the time...

talk LOUD... laugh LOUD... yell LOUD.

You are a loud child... and I'm afraid you come by it honestly :)

You make us talk louder and laugh louder too.

We SO enjoy watching you grow and discover new things. You light up our little cozy world... and we LOVE it!

Happy Valentines Day!

Hope everyone had a fun day, filled with love & chocolate :)

We filled our day with all kinds of busy things. We had a fun day!

Owen got to hand out/mail his 1st Valentines to the one's we love.

And, it all started with one little pink piggy...

(made me think of a little pink niece)

I added a little touch to the piggy, then created an entire army of Valentines for our cousins & Grandparents.

Piggy's for little girls, moo cows for little boys...

sealed with a Valentine wish!

We had fun in the snow today... My awesome husband humored me! And, we started a snowman. This is the beginning picture. :)

blizzard?

ummm... yes!

I heard on the news this morning that we were under a blizzard WARNING.

They were right. The word blizzard always takes me back to Little House on the Prairie days. The Ingall's girls stuck out in the snow storm, in some old shack... that's us today!

Only, we're in a warm house, and safe.
