Easter

Happy Easter... a little late!

Hope you all had a fantastic day with your family!

We had a great Easter weekend, we started celebrating Jesus with a trip to Missouri. We got to have dinner with Chad's family on Friday, along with other fun Easter traditions.

Then, we had a great service on Sunday morning back in Polo. We had about 25 people get baptized on Easter morning!! It was an exciting experience to be a part of.

Chad actually did some of the baptizing. It was SO cool to be there with him, and to share that experience with him. Easter is always such a humbling time... the power of that time was even greater this year. God is powerful, it's cool to feel that power... and to be an active participant in it.

Needless to say, it was a good day... refreshing... and humbling!

And, of course along with Easter comes the material things!

This was Owen's first Easter... so I made him a bow tie.

I also made him a boy-ish basket. I spray painted a plan ol' basket, then made a liner for it! I wanted him to have his own basket, unique... I hope to do the same for future siblings, we'll see how that goes :)

And, of course the Easter Bunny filled it with goodies for him.

On Friday in Missouri, Mama hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the kiddies... Owen enjoyed chewing on the eggs. Also, didn't understand why he had to put it down in the basket after he got hold of one :)

His older cousins help him find out what was inside, then cleaned up the eggs.

Everyone trying to see what all they got... Owen trying to steal Shiloh's basket.

Then of course there were "prizes" to be opened... more like presents from the grandparents, just cause :)

We went home loaded down!

We had a good time celebrating Easter as a family...

We hope that you did as well!

HAPPY EASTER!
